On 29/01/2025, Syngenta Australia Pty Ltd (ACN 002 933 717) initiated a voluntary recall under section 106 of the Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals Code scheduled to the Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals Code Act 1994 (Cth) in relation to the chemical product described above.

Reason for voluntary recall:

The presence of crystals has been discovered in 1L packs of DEMAND® 100CS Insecticide (batch numbers EUA2K2672, EUA2K2680, EUA2K2770) which may cause blockages in application equipment. No other batches are affected.

Hazard:

The sediment formed by the crystals may affect the expected performance of DEMAND® 100CS Insecticide (batch numbers EUA2K2672, EUA2K2680, EUA2K2770) and may lead to blockages in application equipment reducing the effectiveness of the product.

What to do:

DO NOT use DEMAND® 100CS Insecticide from batch numbers EUA2K2672, EUA2K2680, EUA2K2770. Return unopened or partially used containers of DEMAND® 100CS Insecticide from the recalled batch to the retail outlet, from where the product was purchased, for a full refund.
