How VERTENTO® insecticide works on tree crop insect pests

VERTENTO® Insecticide Technical Specifications

VERTENTO® is a Group 30 insecticide powered by PLINAZOLIN® technology, registered for use in almonds, avocados, citrus, macadamias, mangoes and papayas.  It contains 400 g/L isocycloseram with both contact and ingestion activity that stops insect pests feeding within hours of application.

Macadamia: Fruit spotting bug, Macadamia seed weevil
Mango: Banana spotting bug, Fruit spotting bug
Papaya: Banana spotting bug (suppression)
Application Rate 5 mL/100 L (dilute), up to 2.5× concentrate; Papaya 75 mL/ha
Applications Per Season Maximum 2 (Citrus) or 3 (all other registered crops)
Adjuvant Required: add a non-ionic adjuvant such as AGRAL® at 10 mL/100 L spray mixture. For citrus, either AGRAL® or a petroleum oil such as Vicol* Summer Oil at 500 mL/100 L spray mixture can be used.

Withholding Period Harvest: 3 days (Avocado, Mango), 7 days (Papaya), 14 days (Almond, Citrus, Macadamia)
