Q: When should I spray VERTENTO® insecticide and how often?

Apply when monitoring shows local thresholds are reached, following crop-specific directions. Observe minimum intervals, typically 14 days between applications, except almonds where a second spray no sooner than 7 days after the first application is allowed if pressure continues. Do not exceed per-season limits. Refer to the current Australian VERTENTO® label.

VERTENTO® insecticide is a Suspension Concentrate (SC) formulation. Shake the container well before using. Always add a suitable non-ionic adjuvant as directed, such as AGRAL® spray adjuvant. For Kelly’s citrus thrips, apply VERTENTO® with a non-ionic spray adjuvant such as AGRAL® Spray Adjuvant at 10 mL per 100 L of spray mixture or a petroleum oil such as Vicol* Summer Oil (825 g/L petroleum oil) at 500 mL per 100 L of spray mixture. You should always maintain agitation while mixing and spraying.Refer to the Australian VERTENTO® label.

VERTENTO^® is a Group 30 insecticide powered by PLINAZOLIN^® technology, registered for use in almonds, avocados, citrus, macadamias, mangoes and papayas. It contains 400 g/L isocycloseram with both contact and ingestion activity that stops insect pests feeding within hours of application.

Application Method	Apply as a water-based slurry using specialised seed-treatment equipment before sowing. Complete coverage of all seed is essential. When applied alone, a total volume of 800mL to 1.6L/100kg seed, including product and water, is recommended. Higher total volumes may be used with other seed treatments.
Duration of Protection	Reduces pest numbers, protects emerging seedlings and reduces feeding damage for three to five weeks after sowing. Monitor crops during the first four weeks after emergence and apply a foliar insecticide if pest numbers exceed industry thresholds.
Restraints	Do not sow treated seed if heavy rain or storms are forecast within three days. Do not irrigate to the point of field runoff for at least three days after sowing treated seed.
Withholding Period	Harvest: Not required when used as directed Grazing: Do not graze treated crops or cut for stock food for six weeks after sowing
Trade Advice	Export slaughter interval: Not required when used as directed
