Victrato - Shield Your Yield. Registered for crown rot and rot lesion nematode management

VICTRATO® Seed Treatment

Shield your wheat and barley yield against crown rot and root lesion nematodes

VICTRATO® seed treatment delivers dual protection in wheat and barley against two of Australia's most significant yield-limiting, soil borne threats, fusarium crown rot, and root lesion nematodes.

VICTRATO® highlights

  • Proven performance, proven profit. Over 400 trials have demonstrated that VICTRATO® doesn't just reduce crown rot symptoms, it consistently outperforms existing seed treatments, while regularly delivering a positive ROI. When pressure hits, your investment pays back.
  • Australian first for nematodes in cereals. VICTRATO® is the first seed treatment registered in Australia to tackle root lesion nematodes. These hidden yield thieves feed on cereal roots season after season. Now you can hit them at sowing, protecting your yield potential from the start.
  • Built for Australian conditions. Formulated specifically for the Australian growing environment, VICTRATO® delivers optimised systemic activity that moves through the cereal plant, providing protection where it matters most.
  • Safe on your crop. Across 96 independent trials, VICTRATO® has exhibited excellent seed and crop safety, with no negative impact on seedling germination or vigour being observed.
  • A new tool in your integrated strategy.  VICTRATO® isn't a replacement, it's an upgrade. Integrate it into your current management program to reduce risk, protect yield potential, and improve returns when crown rot or nematodes threaten your bottom line.

Crown Rot Banner

What is crown rot? A growing challenge for Australian cereal producers

Now being detected across vast areas of the Australian wheat belt, crown rot is estimated to cost wheat, durum and barley growers $404 million in lost yield annually (Murray and Brennan 2019). It’s out there and whether you see the symptoms or not the disease persists after harvest, ready to re-infect subsequent cereal crops. In partnership with industry, Syngenta is supporting the implementation of integrated management strategies for crown rot, including uptake of PREDICTA® B soil and stubble testing.

Test now, plan ahead and understand your crown rot risk. Together let’s take the fight to crown rot.
