Leading agricultural professionals return from European Study Tour
Last month, a group of leading growers and agricultural professionals toured the UK and Europe as part of the Growth Awards study tour. The tour exposed the 2016 growth Awards winners to innovative farming practices and technological solutions.
To kick off the tour, they visited the arable industry's leading technical event, Cereals 2017, which attracts over 24,000 farmers, agronomists and industry professionals annually to the event held at Boothby Graffoe, Lincolnshire. They then toured the Royal Farms in Windsor followed by traveling to Austria to tour Syngenta's largest research and development facility in the world, Jealott's Hill and Case IH's factory in St Valentine.
A number of the group shared their thoughts on the visits, as well as a couple of things they will take away from the experience through the below short YouTube clips.
The 2017 Growth Awards launched earlier this year, with the winners due to be announced in November 2017 at the Gala Dinner being held in Sydney, NSW.
