CITRUS and COTTON: Add the required amount of ACTARA to clean water in half-filled spray tank with the agitator or by-pass in operation. Maintain agitation while filling tank with remainder of water. Agitate whilst spraying. To be effective ACTARA requires thorough spray coverage. Ensure that equipment is properly calibrated to give an even distribution at the correct volume. TOMATOES: ACTARA should be applied through direct injection into drip/trickle irrigation systems. Injection equipment must be accurately calibrated to achieve the required application rates prior to treatment (see Application). Calculate the amount of Actara required based on the number of plants to be treated. The amount of Actara to be used must not exceed the total dose required. Prepare the injection solution using a minimum dilution for injection of 8 g of product in 1 L of water. The volume of the injection solution should not exceed what can be injected in ¼ of the total irrigation volume. DO NOT prepare more injection solution than required to dose the total number of plants to be treated.
