Cash-back in testing times

Cereals
09.12.2016

AgriClime is a cash-back program from Syngenta, designed to help shoulder the risk of low rainfall periods with cereal growers.

Since the pilot program in 2014, to launching country-wide in 2016, over 420 growers have registered for AgriClime, covering in excess of 400,000 hectares.

Eligible grain growers could receive 15% cash-back on their investment in Syngenta technology if rainfall does not meet a threshold level over an elected period during the season.

Despite most of the country experiencing prolonged wet periods this season, a number of registered growers across Western Australia received a cash-back this season as the amount of rainfall received was below their program threshold level.

The 2017 AgriClime program has been refreshed and is now even easier for grain growers to register for the cash-back program.

Registration remains free of charge. Grain growers must meet eligibility requirements. To be eligible, growers must spend at least $50 (inc gst) per hectare on select Syngenta products across a minimum of 300 hectares.

Qualifying products include any purchases made of the following brands between September 2016 and October 2017: Amistar Xtra®, Axial®, Boxer Gold®, Dual Gold®, Karate Zeon®, Moddus® Evo, Uniform®, Spray.Seed®, Talinor®, and/or Vibrance®.

Registrations are now open. To register or to find out more, visit the AgriClime page.

Registrations close July 30, 2017.
