The Australian Wine Research Institute (AWRI) has given approval for use of MIRAVIS on wine grapes.

MIRAVIS  is generally suitable for use in IPM programs.  Two representative arthropod species (predatory mite (Typhlodromus pyri) and parasitoid wasp (Aphidius rhopalosiphi)) were tested and there were no treatment-related effects on survival and reproduction of either species at any rate.

MIRAVIS was tested in five different grape varieties (cv Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, White Frontignac, Menindee Seedless, Riesling)

In four crop safety trials which evaluated MIRAVIS at 100mL to 300mL/100L (3x concentrate application) no phytotoxicity was observed that was associated with fungicide application on grapevine leaves, flowers or fruit

There was no impact on yield from fungicide application or on shoot growth.
