Syngenta has informed industry that it is voluntarily withdrawing six batches of GESAGARD® and two batches of PRIMEXTRA GOLD® manufactured by a third party toller.
The affected batches were supplied to distribution customers between the dates of February 2013 and November 2014 and are in addition to the four batches of GESAGARD and four batches of PRIMEXTRA GOLD® which were voluntarily withdrawn in January 2017.
If applied in accordance with the label instructions, the impurities pose an extremely low risk to people, crops and the environment and we do not expect any measurable residues of these impurities to be present on crops treated with identified batches of GESAGARD and PRIMEXTRA GOLD.
This voluntary withdrawal process has been initiated due to the recent identification of the presence of low-level impurities in the identified batches.
We are continuing to work with industry to withdraw the identified batches. If you have any affected batches, please immediately quarantine any products in your possession that correlate with the identified batch numbers and process them through the Syngenta returns process.
Syngenta has tested all remaining retained samples of GESAGARD and PRIMEXTRA GOLD and the results for all other batches of GESAGARD and PRIMEXTRA GOLD are within product specifications.
