Ashley is the CEO of FABAL Wines Pty Ltd situated in Unley, NSW. He has been a passionate advocate for the staff he employs to ensure that their safety is the number one priority over everything else.
He has implemented the highest standards in all FABAL vineyard sites around chemical handling and storage to ensure every site is as safe as possible. Staff training and development has been a key focus for Ashley, to the point where staff are not only required to have all the standard industry training and accreditation but he will proactively seek out companies, including Syngenta, to come and train and accredit his staff so they have a deeper understanding of risks, hazards and mitigation strategy.
Ashley is very open and approachable and even encourages staff from across the country to address any training deficiencies or unmet safety requirements there may be in the business. The level of understanding and depth of knowledge that Ashley requires of himself before signing off on anything is a testament to the care and respect he has for his staff.
