Rob has a long history within the agriculture industry. A third generation farmer, he has used his deep understanding of the sector to innovate on-farm which has increased his productivity dramatically. Rob has made a transition from a mixed farming to a continuous cropping operation. He has a tertiary degree in Applied Science and he and his family now live on and run the farm business.
Rob has undertaken a number of on-farm trials to assess new seed varieties and agricultural chemicals and this desire to learn has assisted greatly in increasing productivity. It has allowed Rob to adapt to the region’s soil biology and conditions.
